Cheese-less Lasagne

This is perfect for us as we all love lasagne but my fussy eater isn’t a fan of the cheese sauce.

 

You will need the following…

Ingredients

  • 1tbsp olive oil
  • 500g lean steak mince 5% fat
  • 400mls beef stock
  • 400g tinned chopped tomatoes
  • 1tbsp tomato puree
  • Dreid oregano
  • 1 diced courgette
  • 3-4 diced carrots
  • 2 cloves of chopped garlic
  • 1 diced red onion
  • Seasoning
  • Lasagne sheets

Fry onion for a few minutes until softened. Add mince and brown. Add garlic, carrots and courgette. Add herbs, seasoning, tomatoes and stock.

Bring to the boil and simmer for 10-15 minutes.

Layer meat and lasagne sheets.

Cook in the oven 180ºc for 30-35mins or until pasta is cooked through.
