Today was a pretty good day. No cravings, side effects or mishaps.
I completed a pretty sweaty HIIT session with The body coach, the kind where sweat literally runs down your arms. I like that kind of workout. I did my cleaning and ironing and took the long routes to do the school run with the dog. I felt quite full of energy today.
- Breakfast was porridge with homemade pecan butter (Easy Peasy homemade Nut butters) and some frozen raspberries. See my blog on A ton of ideas to mix up your porridge.
- Lunch was a toasted wholemeal pitta with humous, salad drizzled with a lemon and olive oil dressing and 2 soft boiled eggs. I had wanted to make a guacamole but I had avocado issues… both of them were brown.
- Dinner was a Courgetti and Miso steak. A recipe from my Lean in 15 book.
- Snacks were mixed berries with natural yogurt and some spicy oven roasted chickpeas. A recipe from Clean eating Alice.
Tomorrow will mark a week of being Sugar free. I am finding it easier than I expected. I know I may not be saying the same next week when the kids are off school.
